A concrete slab foundation is the best option, but it can be expensive, especially if you have to hire a foundation installer to handle the work.
These costs go on top of your standard garage prices.
You can get away with a less costly foundation like a gravel pad. However, while it’s a good idea for a metal carport, we don’t recommend it for your garage.
