Our metal garages for sale use 14-gauge steel tubing framing, typically spaced five feet apart. Depending on the model and your location, you may be able to upgrade to thicker framing. Our garage doors are roll-up style with optional chain hoists, and you can add automatic garage door openers after installation.
The sides and roof use 29-gauge steel sheeting, with an optional upgrade to 26-gauge sheeting. If you want a concrete foundation, have a local contractor pour it before the building is installed, or pour the concrete slab yourself.
When comparing building types, you may see garage plans and floor plans based on wood construction building materials like joists, trusses, pressure-treated lumber, vinyl siding, and shingles—common in craftsman styles or garages with a second floor.
