When a 24×24 carport is just slightly too small and a 24×26 carport is slightly too big, consider getting a 24 x 25 carport. Our metal carports can be made taller in 1′ increments with up to 16′ legs available. Sides can be left open, partially closed, or fully closed. You can choose to have a one-sided carport, close the gables off, or even fully enclose it and turn it into a metal garage. You may even choose to add an extension to the legs of your carport to lift it higher! Upon ordering the carport at Alan’s Factory Outlet, a 10% to 17% deposit is due with either a credit card or a check for the deposit, with the balance due once the steel carport is delivered and installed. Final payment can be given via credit card or check for the remaining balance. Once you order, you will be contacted and a copy of the order will be emailed to you for you to review and approve to make sure everything is just like you want it.
We anchor the carport to the ground with rebar and mobile home anchors or asphalt with rebar and to the cement for free with concrete anchor bolts. The location for the carport must be level or within at least 3″ of level or we will not be able to install it.
The metal carports come certified for 150 mph and 35 psf. To achieve this rating, the structure will have a tighter screw pattern and be anchored to support the 150 mph wind rating. Generic blueprint drawings, which may or may not be required to secure your permit, can be emailed to you upon your request within approximately 3 to 4 business days after ordering.
The steel carports come with 14-gauge tubing, which is 2 1/2″ by 2 1/2″ square tubing, or you can upgrade to the 12-gauge tubing, which is 2 1/4″ by 2 1/4″ tubing. The framing on the optional thicker 12-gauge tubing comes with a 20-year rust-through warranty.
The carports are custom-built in the size and style and with the options you want. You get to choose between 16 different colors for the roof and trim colors. And if you close the sides or ends, you also get to pick which color you want it to be.
